A Milestone Moment
Willow Bay Australia proudly featured on the runway at Adelaide Fashion Week 2025, marking a major milestone for our brand and celebrating South Australian creativity.
This year’s event drew nearly 60 submissions from across the country. The South Australian Fashion Industry Association (SAFIA) Board and the ADL Fashion Week selection panel reviewed each entry against detailed criteria before choosing the final line-up.
Being selected from such a strong field recognised Willow Bay’s distinctive approach to design and our commitment to creating stylish, practical accessories for modern life.
The Edit Runway
We were honoured to take part in The Edit Runway on Saturday 11 October, alongside iconic Australian names such as AJE, David Jones, Lanamara, Leonard St, Off Duty, Vacay Swimwear, and Yaneth.
Adelaide Fashion Week 2025 ran across Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October at The Loft at The Richmond in Rundle Mall. The 1920s-inspired space offered an elegant, intimate setting for five unique runway showcases. With its heritage charm and refined atmosphere, The Loft perfectly captured the spirit of Australian design-creative, confident, and timeless.
Our Runway Collection
Our runway presentation featured pieces from our signature neoprene travel range, including the Cabin Bag, Travel Boutique Tote, and Vogue Duffel. Each design reflected our philosophy of blending functionality with effortless style.
Every bag was crafted from premium washable neoprene, with thoughtful details such as trolley sleeves, full zip closures, and generous internal pockets. Styled by the ADL Fashion Week Creative Team, led by Chris Kontos, the looks embodied the Willow Bay confident, organised, and always ready to move.
Proudly South Australian
Founded in Adelaide in 2017 by two mums and friends, Willow Bay has grown from a small idea into a globally recognised lifestyle brand. Featuring on the Adelaide Fashion Week runway was both humbling and rewarding, reflecting how far we have come while staying true to our South Australian roots.
We were also proud to share the stage with other talented designers and to collaborate with the event’s creative partners, including the Clip Joint Creative Team (celebrating fifty years as the Official Hair Partner) and Media Makeup as the Official Makeup Partner.
A Celebration of Creativity
Adelaide Fashion Week 2025 highlighted the strength and diversity of South Australian fashion. The event not only celebrated local design but also showcased the growing national and international recognition of our creative community.
For Willow Bay, being part of this showcase was an incredible honour and a reminder of what is possible through passion, creativity, and collaboration.
